Dr. Deer's Ten Point Crossbow Strikes Again!
10/22/2013

Last night, Dr. Deer and his cameraman, Cody, were sitting on a Buck Forage Oat plot near Hutchinson, Kansas waiting on a big buck when a pack of six coyotes appeared suddenly on the field. All the deer ran off, so Doc and Cody decided to call one of them in for a shot from his Ten Point. Using his mouth, Cody squeeked one of the coyotes to 35 yards, then barked at it to stop it. Doc's Ten Point let fly with a Ten Point bolt tipped with a 125 grain Muzzy and the coyote was history, a double pass through lung shot. "I love my Ten Point," says Doc, " and the Muzzy is a lethal broadhead." Crossbows and vertical bows are great for deer hunting, but if you have the chance they work very well on predators. Don't worry about spooking deer, the coyote already has done that.
